God will never fail you.
“Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:
The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”
The Lord is good to those who depend on him,
to those who search for him.”
Lamentations 3:21-25 NLT
There is purpose in spending time recalling and remembering His faithfulness. In the Word, there are so many stories and scriptures that tell of God’s faithfulness to help us remember— He has never failed.
He didn’t fail Abraham, although His promise didn’t appear to be possible. Even when Moses cried, “I can’t”, God said, “I’ll help you”. And God kept His promise to send His Son for our reconciliation.
He cannot fail because of His covenant with us. Set your mind on that.
We want to take some time remembering, and refreshing our hope. How has He been faithful to you? As you pray throughout the day, write these things down, recall them to your mind— and just see how it strengthens you.
“So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope!” Hebrews 6:18 TPT
Today, we want you to pray a prayer of remembrance. Call to mind the ways He has been faithful and remind Him. Trust us, He remembers, but it will increase your hope for what is to come.
Personally, we have seen Him move in mighty ways in our family— bringing the lost home and restoring hope. We have experienced supernatural provision in ways that were unexplainable. We have felt Him change our own hearts and bring healing in ways only He could do. He has shown His faithfulness as we have stepped out in absolute obedience and put our trust fully in Him. Tori has experienced freedom from fear and God has quite literally saved Josh’s life (several times). We have seen Him do miracles, and it has changed us forever. He’s met us at daybreak, and in the midnight hours and in all the hours in between. We share this to say—we take His faithfulness personally, and we pray you do too! When you recall and recount His goodness in your life, it quickly reminds you: He will never fail you.
Let this encourage you today while you remember, He’s Never Lost.
Feel free to share with us some ways He’s been faithful to you. We’d love to hear from you!
We love you,
Pastors Josh + Tori
